Developed by the curriculum developers Hands-on labs provide students with real-world scenarios and troubleshooting The online course (version 3.0) of CCNA 1 and 2 was launched in July 2003. Throughout the remainder of 2003 and early 2004 modifications were made to the course. As these course updates have occurred and stabilized Cisco Press and Cisco Systems worked closely together to update the Lab Companion and the Companion Guide and other resource materials that correlate and support this course. These modifications have led to Cisco Press to publish the Revised Third Edition of the CCNA 1 and 2 Lab Companion. This Lab Companion will fully support and serve as a convenient lab manual to the revised CCNA 1 and 2 course. It presents the students with strong pedagogy and learning aids to utilize both in the classroom and beyond the classroom setting. All the online labs are presented and provide real-world scenarios to aid the students in hands-on practice of the concepts presented in the online course and the Companion Guide. The authors are the online curriculum developers of the Cisco Networking Academy Program. These developers and authors have extensive academic and instructional backgrounds. The authoring team is based in Phoenix, AZ.
